New Record: Campbell and Sons “Vices” out now!
Campbell and Son, a resonate father-son folk duo, announce the release of their new EP Vices, on Fake Chapter Records. The first single, America (You’re Breaking My Heart), seeks to extend an olive branch to the citizens of a very divided America. The song recently won the weekly at-home competition as part of the John Lennon Songwriting Competition and can be found on all major streaming services.
Vices, which includes three additional songs, explores the many ways the human experience can be colored by outside forces – both good and bad. Recorded at Soundmine Studios in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania, Vices features guitar interplay and harmonies that can only come from the bonds of family. The result is four well-crafted and deeply meaningful songs that harken back to musical giants like James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel, and Dan Folgerberg. Campbell and Son continue to write, record and host live streaming shows, hoping to get back on the road when the world returns to normal.
