The Nuclears sign with Fake Chapter!

The Nuclears signed to Fake Chapter Records and will release their new CD/LP ‘Barrage Rock’ on April 26th with a album release party at Coney Island Baby in NYC.

The Nuclears are a twin-guitar party rock ‘n’ roll band based out of Brooklyn, New York. ‘Barrage Rock’ showcases and ties together The Nuclears’ sonic range: from high-energy protopunk, to 70’s glitter rock, to Kinks-ian power pop, to riff-driven heavy metal. The Nukes were formed in the suburbs of Washington D.C. in the mid-2000’s by high school friends Brian Dudolevitch (vocals/guitar) and Bobby Sproles (bass guitar), along with Brian’s younger brother, Mike (guitar, vocals). They made waves in the DC rock ‘n’ roll scene when they were named Best Garage Rock Band by Little Steven’s Underground Garage, only to have the title stripped away when it was found out they were too young to be eligible. Nevertheless it earned them a deal with District Records, with whom the band would release their first recording, ‘ Meet the Nuclears.’ Afterwards, The Nukes relocated to Brooklyn where they rounded out their lineup with Kevin Blatchford (drums) and Briana Layon (vocal/percussion/guitar).
